Puszta with horse show

( Full day tour )

The „Hungarian Puszta” is a characteristic landscape, the distant relative of steppes. This plain area stretches from the Danube river to Hungary’s eastern border and occupies third part of the country. The name of this region is The Great Hungarian Plain. The country's largest cultivated lands are here: wheat fields stretching as far as the eye can see, vast orchards. Here you can see huge national parks, traditional villages and horse farms.

We will start the day in the capital of the „Puszta”, in Kecskemét. The city is famous far and wide for its apricot brandy, Art Nouveau buildings adorned with colored ceramics and the Kodály method of musical education.

Afterwards we will visit a horse farm. Hungarian horsemen, called „csikós” awaits us with „pálinka”. We will be given a carriage ride and enjoy the lovely surrounding territory. During the following horse show we will get a bite of our highly developed equestrain culture. Then we will see the horses in the stables as well typical animals.

We can finish our visit here with traditional lunch and good wines accompanied by gipsy music.
